Job SummaryThe Compensation Analyst is responsible for the end to end management of the Company's compensation philosophy, policies, procedures, practices and compliance programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities--- Assist in the design of compensation programs and policies to support the recruitment, development and retention of a high-performing and diverse workforce--- Partners with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to determine appropriate job offers --- Develop and maintain job descriptions; determine market pricing and FLSA status ensuring compliance with Federal and State guidelines--- Supports annual pay planning activities within established timelines--- Leads annual internal equity activities (e.g., reporting, partnering with internal and external resources on analysis, training, etc.)--- Services as technical expert in the area of compensations; interprets and provides advice and guidance to management staff--- Evaluates and analyzes salary data, determines pay grades and conducts or participates in compensation surveys--- Participate in compensation surveys and evaluate industry developments, trends and pay practices--- Stays abreast of legislative activities and regulatory changes, evaluating impact to compensation programs and ensures company compliance with Federal and State laws governing compensation practices--- Conducts annual market analysis for all positions in all locations to ensure the company maintains salaries in the competitive range--- Responsible for administration of quarterly and annual bonus program, executive compensation, incentive plans and stock option administration--- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Competencies:--- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and organize work effectively--- Highly organized and able to work within timelines in a fast paced environment--- Thorough understanding of Federal, State and local rules, regulations and/or statutes pertaining to wages, compensation plans and FLSA status--- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ability to work with all levels in the organization--- Self-motivated with superior attention to detail--- Knowledge of HRIS and MS Office Suite.-- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., vlookup, pivot tables, etc)--- Excellent oral and written communication skills--- Knowledge of HR principles and best practices in compensation
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)--- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education--- 6 to 10 years of compensation management or related experience required--- World at Work CCP preferred
