Overview
The Associate Test Technician (2nd Shift) is responsible for
conducting mechanical tests on materials and components to ensure
compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. The
role involves operating testing equipment, preparing test samples,
analyzing results, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Shift 2: 2
-10:30pmSalary: $22- $24/hour DOE (Depending on Experience) + $1.00
Shift Differential
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical tests, primarily tensile and will be cross
trained in hardnessOperate universal testing machines (UTMs) and
hardness testersPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of
laboratory equipment.Ensure laboratory instruments are in
compliance with ISO, ASTM, and other industry standards.Record test
results accurately and generate detailed reports.Maintain
laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with quality control
standards.Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and
laboratory best practices.Ensure testing procedures align with ISO
17025, ASTM, ASME, and other applicable standards.Participate in
laboratory audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
