Job Description:
A company is looking for a Profee Specialized Coder - Emergency
Department.
Key Responsibilities
Code medical records accurately and timely for physician and
mid-level provider services
Assign appropriate ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS codes while adhering to
coding guidelines
Maintain a quarterly quality score of 95% or greater in coding
accuracy
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completion of a Coding Course
1 year of coder experience required; 3 years preferred
Core credential such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CRC
required
Specialty credential in areas like Emergency Department Coding or
similar required
