A company is looking for a Visiting Researcher in Central
Applied Science.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with large amounts of data to derive actionable insights
Communicate technical topics and insights effectively to diverse
audiences
Contribute to Facebook's long-term roadmap for data-scientific
contributions
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or
relevant technical field
MS degree with 5+ years of industry experience in data science or
research science, or PhD in related field
Experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and social
network analysis
Proficiency in statistical computing software such as R, Python, or
Julia
Experience with distributed computing tools like Hive and
Presto
