Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist for a temporary position for our client in San Bernardino. Our client is seeking someone with 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience.Will be a temporary role for 3-6 month and will be required to work onsite.Pay $24-27 per hour DOEResponsibilities for the Procurement Specialist:Will perform purchasing and contract administration support for a variety of products, supplies and servicesInteract with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing and termsValidate and process insurance certificates and review and process purchase requisitions and verify for accuracyConduct research to identify potential sources and suppliers for specific productsObtain written price quotations and data on comparative prices, quality and availability, terms and deliveryCreate and maintain vendor files in database and work closely with vendors, suppliers and other internal staffHandle questions related to invoices, purchase orders and paymentsAssist with proposals, formal bids openings and preparation of Scope of WorkRequirements for the Procurement Specialist:AA in Business Administration, Public Administration, Risk Management, Purchasing or equivalent2+ years of procurement or purchasing experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and strong analytical skillsExcellent customer service skills
