Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for a part-time Occupational Therapist to
provide specialized support to K-12 students during the Extended
School Year (ESY) program. Located in Torrance, CA, this role
focuses on delivering therapeutic services that help students
achieve their educational and developmental goals throughout the
summer session from June 15th to July 10th. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in a
school setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment
plans tailored to each students needs. Collaborate with educators,
parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
Document interventions, progress notes, and maintain compliance
with state and federal regulations. Participate in team meetings
and provide recommendations to enhance students functional
performance. Qualifications: Valid license as an Occupational
Therapist with experience in school-based therapy. Knowledge of
therapeutic practices applicable to school-aged children.
Familiarity with the ESY program and ability to work effectively in
a structured school environment. Strong communication skills and
the ability to work collaboratively within an educational team.
