A contractual opportunity is available in Palm Desert, CA for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language services to pediatric and school-aged populations, ensuring effective communication development and therapeutic outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Facilitate targeted therapy sessions to improve speech and language capabilities Carefully track and document student progress and therapy outcomes Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to provide integrated care Involve and educate families to support therapeutic interventions and foster communication at home Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as an SLP in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged clients is desirable Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Benefits and Support:This contract position offers access to a dedicated advisory team experienced in SLP practice within the state, providing ongoing professional guidance and support to enhance career development.
