Do you want to join a large pain management practice in Southern
California where patient care and teamwork always comes first! Then
California Pain is the place for you We are seeking a skilled and
compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong interest in
pain management to join our multidisciplinary care team. The PA
will work under the supervision of a pain management physician,
performing comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and treating
patients with acute and chronic pain, and participating in ongoing
care planning to improve patient quality of life. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments including history,
physical examination, and review of diagnostic tests. Develop and
implement individualized pain management treatment plans. Prescribe
medications and order diagnostic tests in accordance with state
regulations and supervision agreements. Perform in-office
procedures (e.g., joint injections, trigger point injections) as
appropriate to training and scope of practice. Collaborate with
physicians, nurses, physical therapists, psychologists, and other
providers to deliver holistic pain care. Provide patient education
on medication management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment
plans. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance
with HIPAA and clinical standards. Participate in case reviews,
team meetings, and continuing education programs related to pain
management. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician
Assistant program. Current PA license in CA. NCCPA certification
required. DEA license and prescriptive authority in [State].
Minimum 12 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics,
neurology, or a related specialty preferred. Proficiency in EMR
systems and clinical documentation. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management
