Job Description:
A company is looking for an Interpreter to provide language
interpretation services between patients, families, and healthcare
teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform bilingual interpretation of patient care needs to ensure
understanding among patients, families, and healthcare team
members
Maintain accurate documentation of interpretation activities and
participate in educational programs to enhance skills
Collaborate with translators and refer psychosocial issues to
appropriate departments for effective patient care
Required Qualifications
Fluency in English and at least one foreign language
Experience in interpretation services, preferably in a healthcare
setting
Knowledge of national standards of practice and ethics in
interpretation
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
