Seeking BE/BC Family/Internal/Emergency Med Physicians for Urgent Care openings in Riverside County, CA. Medical Group is today one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in the Inland Empire with 17 facilities. It also operates three Urgent Care Centers and is affiliated with two local hospitals. • EMR is Epic
• Clinical support staff - rooming patients, vitals, rX refills, and follow up appointments
• Shifts rotate among three area Urgent Care Centers
• Each UCC has: about 10 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 4 acute care beds, & 3-4 hydration beds; a full-service laboratory with one-hr. turnaround time; & digital X-ray units. Each shift is staffed with either two physicians or one physician & a PA or Nurse Practitioner. Currently we have 14 physicians and 4 PAs or Nurse Practitioners, for a total of 21 providers. Shifts are 9 +1 hour added for paperwork : 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. & 3 p.m. - midnight, rotating between the three facilities. Patient load is variable, typically 20-30 pts./shift. 4 10 hour shifts per week = 40. The provider schedule is maintained on-line, to facilitate efficient trading of shifts. Extra shift work (for extra pay) typically is available, if desired. Compensation & Benefits:
