Position Summary:Registered nurse specializing in the care of the surgicalpatient. Functions in all capacities of an RN in a surgical setting, which includespre-surgical and post-surgical patient management.ReportsTo: Nurse Manager,PREOP/PACUSupervises: NoneQualifications Position Requirements:Licensure/ Certification/Registration:

• CurrentCalifornia RN license.
• BCLScertification.

• PALScertificationEducation:
  • Graduatefrom an accredited school of nursing.
  • AADegree minimumExperience:
    • Minimum2-years previous experience in Critical Care or Recovery Room nursing.Special Qualifications:
      • Abilityto demonstrate organizational skills that are measured by constructive use oftime toward completion of assignments in a timely manner.
      • Abilityto withstand periods of strenuous work.
      • Abilityto perform in a fast-paced environment.
      • Abilityto function during stress / emergency situation
