  Responsibilities
  Position Summary: Participates in the planning and implementing of major facilities' construction/renovation projects to ensure the safe and effective placement of imaging equipment and efficient operations. Monitors staff performance and participates in the development of competencies, performance standards and imaging protocols for the department. Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
  • Directs the application of diagnostic imaging technology and regulatory standards.
  • Maintains policies, protocols and procedures to meet regulatory standards, ensuring equipment and procedures are safe, functional and capable of meeting the diagnostic needs.
  • Participates in the planning and implementing of major facilities' construction/renovation projects to ensure the safe and effective placement of imaging equipment and efficient operations.
  • Monitors staff performance and participates in the development of competencies, performance standards and imaging protocols for the department.
    Qualifications
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or a combination of education and/or additional imaging-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of diagnostic imaging experience, three (3) years of which include experience managing/supervising diagnostic imaging services. Licensure:
      • Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure. If the state in which you are applying offers no applicable state licensure, then corresponding registration in a national modality (ARRT or NMTCB or ARDMS) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
        Pay Range
        $59.53 - $86.32 /hour
