Division is seeking a Mission Assurance Manager 3 for our San
Diego, CA location. This position will oversee all program Mission
Assurance activities for the F-35 CNI program, including production
and sustainment. The position will also serve as Quality customer
interface, including DCMA. This manager is an experienced leader,
possessing demonstrated expertise in the core areas of execution,
process development and analysis, performance management,
operational excellence, and risk management. What you'll get to do:
Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and
processes to ensure mission success of programs. Performs quality,
risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program
achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with
contractual requirements. Assesses program performance, risks, and
determining resources to ensure mission assurance. Maintains
collaborative relationship with customer to ensure mutual
understanding and resolution of issues. The ideal candidate must
have an understanding of mission assurance, quality contract
requirements, supplier quality, quality engineering, inspection
methods, production control, manufacturing operations, product test
& evaluation, reliability, root cause analysis, defect analysis,
control of nonconforming material, product sell off, shipping, and
product support as they apply to quality. Basic Qualifications for
the Mission Assurance Manager 3 : Bachelor’s degree and a minimum
of 8 years of experience in Quality, Quality Engineering, Program
Management, Engineering Management or Manufacturing; Minimum of 6
years of experience with a Master’s degree); Minimum of 10 years of
experience with an Associates Degree; or 12 or more years of
experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of 5 years of leadership
experience (Integrated Product Teams leadership or direct-line
management). ? Experience with Quality Management Systems.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience with
problem solving techniques to determine Root Cause and Corrective
Action (RCCA). Experience in disciplines such as Quality & Mission
Assurance, Program Management, Engineering and/or Manufacturing.
U.S. Citizenship Required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret
clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in an
engineering discipline with Master’s degree in an engineering or
management field. Defense Industry experience as a Program or
Project Manager, Mission Assurance Manager, Quality Manager,
Engineering Manager or Manufacturing Management. Experience with
Customer interactions including DCMA. Software Quality experience.
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification and or
experience helping drive continuous improvement. CAM/Earned Value
certification and/or experience. Active Secret Clearance MPR
Primary Level Salary Range: $175,400.00 - $263,200.00 The above
salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop
Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary
offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and
the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
