Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician to support testing, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic and avionics systems. This role involves hands-on work with advanced test equipment, detailed diagnostics at the component level, and collaboration with engineering and technical teams in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, perform, and analyze electronic tests per established procedures and document results accurately Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic system failures down to the PWA/component level Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and technical documentation Operate and maintain test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators, and related tools Repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuit assemblies Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians as needed Ensure proper handling and use of tools, materials, and equipment Follow safety procedures when working with high-voltage, high-energy, or hazardous systems Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues efficiently Required Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent plus 2 years of related experience (3 years of direct experience may be accepted in lieu of degree) Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals (Ohm’s Law, AC/DC, op-amps) Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies and systems Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, voltmeters, and function generators Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Comfortable working in a team-based environment Preferred Qualifications Military or technical school training in electronics or test operations Experience with RF systems and components (amplifiers, filters, oscillators, mixers) Familiarity with LabVIEW, ICD tools, CPLD, J-Link, or similar programming/debug tools Active security clearance or ability to obtain one Assessment Requirement Candidates may be required to complete a technical evaluation covering: Electrical theory Electronics formulas and fundamentals Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023 -06/22- 088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay - transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
