(Location specific – must reside in SoCal or near Orlando, FL)

Travel time pay on top of salary! Only 15% overnight travel , the
rest is regional and will have you sleeping in your own bed at
night! Job Location: Work remotely in Southern CA or Orlando, FL

Responsibilities: Experience with creating and editing electrical
drawings and CAD software such as Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical
Knowledge of practical/fundamental wiring practices for industrial
control systems up to 600VAC motor power circuits, controls,
discrete and analog signaling devices. Experience in electrical
control system design and engineering for machinery, including
programming, start-up and debugging processes. Experience with PLC
Logic using Rockwell, Beckhoff, Siemens, ABB or equivalent.
Experience with Factory Talk ME/SE/Optix and other HMI products.
Experience with ISO13849 and Functional Machine Safety Perform
onsite programming and electrical troubleshooting service calls
with existing automation equipment including VFDs, Servo Drives,
PLCs, HMIs, Sensors, Relays, Motors, etc. Manage automation project
complete lifecycle Comfortable working with a variety of automation
hardware and software platforms Develop electrical Bill of
Materials and appropriately size electrical components in a
controls enclosure Create controls architectural layouts Interpret
and redline electrical schematics Communicate with customers and
team members in a timely and professional manner Skillsets and
Qualifications 3-5 years of experience as a controls engineer
Engineering Degree Strong understanding and the ability to develop
PLC & HMI applications Proven collaborator; able to leverage
individual strengths to provide value to the entire team and
customers Excellent verbal and written communication skills Write
detailed service reports Ability to read, markup, and modify
electrical schematics in .pdf format Hands-on experience with low
voltage (480V and below) electrical applications Experience with
the following automation disciplines: PLC Programming / HMI
Development / Variable Frequency Drives / Motion Control /
Industrial Networks / Sensors Ability to develop and grow strong
customer relationships Consistently takes initiative and
efficiently manages schedule Solid problem-solving skills and
displays acts of resourcefulness Travel will be about 15% local,
15% nationally To comply with some state laws, the annual base
salary range for this position has been provided. The range given
is broad and should be considered as a guideline only. Our client
will consider a candidate's work experience, education/training,
key skills, the salaries of current employees in similar roles, and
other factors when extending an offer.
