Job Details Job Details: Our company is seeking a dynamic, experienced and detail-oriented Permanent Quality Engineer to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Quality Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Developing and implementing quality control systems to ensure product consistency and efficiency. 2. Performing routine audits of our manufacturing processes to identify areas of potential improvement. 3. Leading root cause analysis investigations to address specific issues and implement corrective actions. 4. Facilitating and promoting the use of appropriate Lean Manufacturing tools for process improvement, problem resolution, and continuous process improvement. 5. Monitoring and testing products to ensure that they meet specified standards and customer requirements. 6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop best practices for our manufacturing processes. 7. Training and guiding team members to enhance our overall quality control efforts. 8. Preparing reports on quality metrics and presenting findings to management. 9. Participating in the review of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations. 10. Assisting in the design and implementation of quality training programs for key personnel. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Quality Engineer position should possess the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven experience with Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Quality Auditing, and Continuous Improvement. 4. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and Lean Manufacturing principles. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. 6. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 7. Proficient in the use of statistical analysis software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools. 8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 9. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification would be considered an asset.
