Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

role involves working with self-contained classrooms, resource
rooms, and special day classes to provide individualized
instruction tailored to each student's unique needs. Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Deliver specialized
instruction that meets grade-level standards for K-12 students
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents,
therapists, and general education staff Monitor and document
student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary Maintain a safe
and supportive learning environment Qualifications: Active State
Teaching License in Special Education Experience working with
students in grades K-12, including middle (6-8) and high school
(9-12) levels Ability to manage self-contained classrooms and
resource settings Strong organizational and communication skills
Commitment to inclusive education and student advocacy Position
Details: Location: Lakewood, WA Contract position starting as soon
as possible through the end of the school year 30 to 37.5 hours per
week, 5 days per week Compensation: $37-$41/hour, commensurate with
