Department Summary
The Office of Strategic Communication (OSC) is responsible for
leading and managing the university's marketing, public relations,
and media relations activities to advance the university's mission,
core values, and strategic directions. The OSC is challenged to
develop top-flight external relations and internal communications
programs targeting the institution's diverse constituencies and to
develop successful marketing and public relations efforts that
enhance the image and visibility of California State University,
San Bernardino (CSUSB). By promoting the strengths and
accomplishments of CSUSB to regional, national and international
audiences the OSC plays a critical role in advancing the University
and cementing CSUSB's reputation as a preeminent center of
intellectual and cultural activity in Inland Southern
California.
Job Summary
The Executive Marketing and Communications Writer will assist with
the preparation of speeches, talking points, remarks, reports,
presentations, statements, articles, daily correspondence, and
other written material on behalf of the President and other senior
leadership in connection with speaking engagements or other
activities.
The following typical responsibilities include:
Employment Status: Full-time, Exempt, Probationary with the
possibility of converting to permanent.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $5,102 - $7,083 per month
Classification Salary Range: $5,102 - $11,325 per month
