JOB TITLE: Campus Director STATUS: Exempt/Salaried REPORTS TO:
Senior Vice President of Campus Operations and Strategy PURPOSE The
Campus Director (CD) is accountable for maintaining the highest
educational and ethical standards and accomplishes this by working
closely with students, faculty, and staff. The CD is responsible
for developing, advocating, and sustaining an academic and
professionally focused culture so students are successful while
enrolled in their Program and upon graduation. Campus Directors
will use their advanced operations and business management
experience to develop their assigned campus’ leadership teams and
faculty to be able to provide guidance and support to all students.
CDs’ will manage the daily campus activities and assist in planning
the strategic short and long-term goals for their assigned campus.
The Campus Director is responsible for all campus and student
outcomes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all aspects of school
operations including but not limited to: Develop a culture of
communication and accountability for each department. Conduct
regular meetings and publish reports with a key focus on outcomes
and established OKRs and KPIs Collaborate and communicate on a
consistent and frequent basis with Executive Leadership, Regional
and Corporate support staff to drive initiatives and desired
outcomes Ensure all student issues are resolved promptly and that
all staff and faculty provide top notch customer service Maintain a
productive and efficient working environment, which includes being
able to quickly resolve any staff conflicts or other impediments
Coordinate daily activities of various departments to ensure
successful student outcomes. The following outcomes are minimum
standards for program performance: Student Retention - 70% Graduate
Licensure/Registry Rates - 70% Graduate Job Placement - 70% In
addition to the above standards, the Campus Director is responsible
for each student being placed at an appropriate externship site.
This includes following appropriate admissions budgets, and
sourcing sites in addition to those found in collaboration with
site development when needed. Maintain compliance with ACCSC,
applicable State regulatory body, and the Department of Education.
Work in partnership with compliance team. Ensure regular
campus-wide, departmental, and programmatic trainings are held at
scheduled intervals to establish a culture of compliance. Ensure
all required accreditation reports and responses are met in a
timely manner and that the campus meets all regulatory standards,
including being responsible for any site visits and audits Approve
all campus spending, keeping in-line with budgetary guidelines.
Oversee all expenditures, including careful monitoring and
management of payroll expenses, i.e. overtime and supplemental pay.
Quickly respond to all payroll issues and regularly analyze fiscal
efficiencies Work closely with Director of Healthcare Partnerships
and Career Services to increase and monitor available clinical
sites as well as employer relationships Develop campus’ reputation
through external relationship building by attending community
events and other community activities. As the Campus Director, you
are the face of Smith Chason and should conduct yourself
appropriately Become proficient at speaking with medical
professionals in our fields and facilitating development of those
programs via curriculum development with the Director of Education
and Program Director Work closely with Corporate Staff to carry out
business initiatives Identify and develop new growth opportunities
and business working with College Administration Work alongside the
Human Resource Department, using established procedures, in the new
hire process and in the termination process for all campus staff
and faculty. Coordinate and oversee recruitment, onboarding,
employee performance reviews and training Work to swiftly
deescalate student, employee, and vendor issues as they arise
Ensure the maintenance of all staff and faculty employee files as
required by regulations and laws In overseeing the Director of
Education ensure all standards of state and national accreditation
are met, classrooms are running smoothly, scheduling is done
efficiently, and staffing needs are fulfilled Follow the provided
corporate guidelines to review and evaluate all staff and faculty
at the campus (or ensure this is done appropriately by those who
are delegated the responsibility) Develop a strong and competent
TEAM that produces superior students and graduates Oversee all
campus events Organize staff and faculty meetings while making a
strong effort to implement student feedback Oversight of Program
Advisory Committee meetings and implementing received feedback
Coordinate with the Campus Business Manager in the supervision of
all facilities related services and purchasing agreements with
vendors Work with Compliance and Directors of Education to evaluate
and publish the campus safety plan. Conduct regular evacuation and
safety drills per compliance requirements Additional duties as
assigned by Executive Leadership
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES Must be able to reliably work
a flexible, on-site schedule as classes are scheduled mornings,
evenings, and weekends (campus specific). A minimum of two late
nights are required per week, and if applicable to the campus, one
to two Saturdays a month are required. Regular and punctual
on-campus attendance is expected Bachelor's degree required;
Masters preferred A strong background in private postsecondary
compliance, management, and accreditation Actively stay up to date
on current, proposed, and changing regulations pertaining to the
sector Confidently develop, coach, mentor, and lead others to their
greatest potential The ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet
deadlines through strong time management skills Thrive under
pressure while staying organized Utilize the accountability process
with all staff and faculty Have strong technical skills and openly
