Job Description Job Description A well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Chatsworth is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone seeking stability and a positive work environment, who is comfortable handling both day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. Responsibilities: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data Support cost accounting processes related to manufacturing operations, including inventory entries, variance analysis, and bill of materials review Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor requests Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and production teams to ensure accurate financial tracking Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred but equivalent work experience will suffice. Two years of accounting experience Proficiency with accounting software Basic Excel skills Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
