Job Description:
A company is looking for a Tax Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Complete tax account entries and prepare financial statements
monthly
Assist in the preparation of annual federal and state tax
compliance filings and manage indirect taxes
Collaborate with the accounting department to provide tax-related
financial information and implement process improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business
degree with an Accounting minor required
Preferred two years of related work experience
Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., v-lookup, pivot tables)
Strong tax research skills and familiarity with ProSystem is a
plus
Knowledge of Internal Revenue Service regulations and
multi-state/local tax regulations
