Job Description:
A company is looking for a Cash Posting Specialist to join their
remote team.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and timely post electronic and manual payments based on
explanation of benefits (EOBs) from insurance companies, government
agencies, and subscribers
Process electronic payment requests and locate and export 835
electronic remittance files
Resolve errors, reconcile cash posted, and complete daily and
month-end reports
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years of payment posting experience in Revenue Cycle
Knowledge of payer specific billing requirements and ability to
read an EOB
Experience in navigating clearinghouses and proficiency in
Microsoft Office
Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to
work in a fast-paced environment
