Key parts of the role include preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for working in fast-paced environments are musts. This Senior Accountant role is based in San Bernardino, California with a company in the Agriculture field. Employees of the company are well compensated, receive benefits, and have the possibility of growth.Major responsibilities- Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests- Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner- Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP- Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
