Job Description:

RN Clinical Compliance Auditor - Three Locations: Sacramento, CA/Richmond, VA/San Bernardino, CA **Able to work from home 2 days week** -Are you an RN who is passionate about risk management and compliance auditing? Under the supervision of the Chief Compliance Officer you will be responsible for facilitating the development, implementation and review of compliance auditing framework to ensure the facilitation of best practice in a complex coordinated model of care program. You will perform audits of documentation, functions, and departments in all lines of business in order to ensure adherence to regulatory guidance. -You will assist with the day-to-day compliance and auditing activities including chart reviews, investigating adverse patient events/outcomes, managing and analyzing compliance data and serve as a compliance management resources. -Performs concurrent and retrospective audits of documentation, departments, and functions and report deficiencies found during audits to CCO and Operations. Directs the development of corrective actions and monitors the effectiveness of a corrective action plan to ensure compliance. Prepares requested reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information obtained through investigations, and other compliance activities. - -In conjunction with the Chief Compliance Officer and Operations, works with the Corporate Compliance Director during regulatory audits for programs, CMS, State Administering Agencies, and State licensing agencies. -Partners with the Corporate Compliance Director to perform mock audits to ensure continual survey readiness. Collaborates with Quality, Operations and Population Health in the oversight of Corrective Action Plans. Participates in Level 2, Quality and Account Management meetings and calls with regulators. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory guidance governing company entities and standards of nursing and clinical practice. - -QUALIFICATIONS:Degree in nursing or clinical fieldMinimum of 5 years of applied clinical experience in a health care provider related fieldMust have a minimum of five years of applied compliance or clinical risk management in a health care provider related field.Masters DegreePast experience with clinical auditing, coding audits, strong knowledge of health care, long term care, and homecare experience preferredAbility to be self-motivated and work independently with minimal supervisionOrganized, detail-oriented, diplomatic, proactive, dependable and driven by excellenceAbility to maintain confidentiality in accordance with policies & proceduresEven-tempered and able to balance multiple tasks in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Contact: Sue@thi-search.com 720-735-9743 for immediate considerationLocation: San Bernardino, CASalary: Experience: Experienced Professional (Non-Manager)Education: Master's DegreeIndustry: Healthcare / Healthcare Services
