*Salary: *Up to $115,000/year with a 17.5% annual bonus (potentially increasing to 25-30% after 5 years of service) + Great Bundled PPO BCBS Insurance*Job Description:*We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics General Manager with a strong background in food distribution and wholesale grocery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing multiple locations, particularly in overseeing produce food and cold/refrigerated foods logistics. This role requires the ability to efficiently coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of perishable goods while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining high standards of quality control.*Responsibilities:** Oversee and manage the logistics operations of 10 locations specializing in food distribution and wholesale grocery.* Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation routes, warehouse layouts, and inventory management processes.* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.* Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to negotiate contracts, establish service level agreements, and resolve logistical issues.* Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of perishable goods.* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.* Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.* Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess operational performance, address any issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.* Prepare and present reports to senior management, detailing logistics performance, trends, and areas for improvement.*Requirements:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on food distribution and wholesale grocery.* Proven experience overseeing and managing multiple locations.* Strong understanding of produce food and cold/refrigerated foods logistics.* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.* Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities.* Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.--_*(Salary range based on experience)*_--_*ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNEL*__Do you need your next job fast?
