2 Medical Case Manager in Los Angeles, and Ontario

Salary 79K (Negotiable) + Bonus and Mileage !

General Description:

Full time, RN Field Case Manager to be part of team, this position covers Los Angeles County area. Monday through Friday.

Essential Job Duties:

Responsible for assessment and coordination of medical care related to Workers Compensation injuries. Works closely with adjusters, medical providers, employers, and attorneys to ensure coordination of appropriate care to medically rehabilitate individuals injured on the job and assist with return to work goals. Makes recommendations regarding health care resources. Develops case management plan through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the injured workers progress. Evaluates patient's treatment plan for appropriateness and devises cost effective strategies for medical care. Attends physician/ hospital appointments. Reliable transportation and local travel required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Extensive documentation is required, must have superior computer skills.

Education/Training Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a diploma/ associates degree or BSN preferred. Registered nurse with current unrestricted CA license. 3-5+ years clinical nursing experience. WORKERS COMPENSATION OR CASE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED. Strong technology, organizational and documentation skills a must. Able to work independently, be pro-active, and assertive. CCM desirable!
